How does Haiku SewSaver save money?
Haiku SewSaver is an intelligent motor controller with unique application specific software that continuously monitors the load condition of a motor and deliver just sufficient power to satisfy that demand - no more - no less!. This can be seen as a reduction in kW/hrs at the meter producing real tangible benefits in the form of improved motor control and reduced electricity costs.
What types of motors will Haiku SewSaver work on?
Haiku SewSaver can be installed on all Juki type machine with clutch. Remember it saves most on idling. So the type of sewing machine which have regular load will give less saving.
What additional benefits does Haiku SewSaver offer?
In addition to energy optimisation, Haiku SewSaver by reducing heat, vibration and noise which are all by-products of inefficiency, increases motor life significantly thereby reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
Does Haiku SewSaver conform to international standards?

What size motors can Haiku SewSaver control?
It works on Single-phase motors on a 220v ~ 240v supply. We have two models as per Indian textile industry's requirement. The first one works with motors 250watt-300watt and the other from 600watt to 1100 watt
How many units of SewSavers I shall need for my entire fabrication plant?
Each sewing machine shall require an individual unit of sewsaver, i.e. we cannot group a number of machines to work under one unit.
Is Haiku SewSaver a type of speed controller?
No. The Haiku SewSaver control system is designed to run the motor at a constant speed while optimising its performance. In simple terms speed controllers are much more expensive than Haiku SewSaver and make energy savings by slowing the motor down. Haiku SewSaver does not affect motor speed during optimizing. Unlike speed controllers Haiku SewSaver is able to save energy intelligently without adversely effecting motor speed. Haiku SewSaver controls motor torque not speed.
Shall it affect the performace of motor by reducing the voltage?
People have apprehensions that if the motors run on 150volt-160volt under no load condition the motor's performance is affected and it get damaged soon. It's a wrong notion. As Haiku SewSaver is monitoring the load constantly, it supplies the required voltage which is necessary to run it in the state of idling. Motors are designed to run between 150-250v, but it needs 220v only when it's stitching. When it is running idle, it can run between 150-160v without any problem
Shall I need a qualified Engineer to install it?
Not necessarily. An in-house electrician can do the job.
Can we run the the sewing machine without switching on Sewsaver?
Yes, you can. The sewsaver is connected in series with the motor. So, if in any case, you don't want to use sewsaver and still want to run sewing machine, you can simply do it by switiching off the sewsaver.
How much does Haiku SewSaver cost?
The system provides a very strong commercial proposition, offering a return on investment often within 6-8months depending on your daily production hours, although there are many other highly desirable benefits. What about after sales service?
We shall replace the unit if it malfunctions within the first year of purchase. After that 2 years service warrantee is provided; which means, we shall take your unit for repairing and install a service unit in its place till your original unit is installed again.
