Installation Instruction
The Sewsaver is to be installed, adjusted and maintained by our technical persons or under his supervision/instructions.
1. Fix the Sewsaver in a suitable place. Install the Sewsaver on the left side of the switch box. Make sure no gap between body and plastic plate or plastic plate and tabletop.
2. Sewsavers should be series connected but not parallel connected.
The wiring diagram of Sewsaver:
Enclosures
One unit of sewsaver includes following accessories:-
Specialized Plug Line 1pce Shockproof Plastic Plate 3pcs
Construction Bolt 3pcs Nylon Tape 3pcs
Sensitivity
Adjust clockwise to lower the sensitivity; Adjust counter to raise the sensitivity; should adjust to the Detect (the check light); not bright when motor is of empty load; Tiny bright when motor is of load; shining bright when motor is of sudden load.
Electricity saving rate (need not adjust under general circumstance)
Adjust clockwise to lower the electricity saving rate; adjust counter to raise the electricity saving rate; should adjust power output between 120-150V when motor is of empty load, examine the motor electric current attain to minimum. (Above adjust scope 26 circles)
Warning :
* DO NOT OPEN IT RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
* AVOID DAMPNESS AND VIOLENT IMPACT.
* DO NOT JUSTIFY AND TUCK IT

Installation steps
1. Fixation
The place for installation should be suitable: We fix it on the left side of the switch box; normally neither near the sewing machine nor it should protrude out of the surface. Precaution should be taken not to obstruct the sewing machine’s working.
The screw should be suitably tightened: There shouldn't be gap between the machine and the plastic tray.
2. Line installation
i. The line should be short and simple, and should not touch the moving parts; and the joints suitably insulated.
ii. The device should be installed in series connection, parallel connection is forbidden.
iii. The device should be in series connection between the switch box and the motor, but not between the supply socket and the switch box; make sure the device breaks contact when the switch is closed.
iv. Disconnect the switch box's phase live line(any line of the one phase) which was connected to the motor, then connect the o type circle line in SEWSAVER to the terminal in switch box; Connect another line in SEWSAVER to the line which was disconnected before. Then the SEWSAVER and the motor are in series connection.
Please note
i. Please ensure that the input line and output line are connected correctly. After installation, Check whether the electric switch is firm enough & there is no loose connection in any of the phases in the starter switch or the motor. You may find someone phase of the three phase has loose connection). After connecting, you should check the motor & make sure its working normally. Anything unusual, pay more attention to the switch and the line.
ii. Adjust sensitivity knob when the motor is in its normal working; firstly adjust the electricity saving rate to max (normal working state), then check the Detect knob (the check light), make sure not bright when motor is running on idle load; Tiny bright when motor is on load; shining bright when motor is of sudden load. (This fine tuning affects the saving of electricity by this gadget)
iii. After adjusting sensitivity, then let the device and the motor have a trial run for 30-45 minute and if everything is normal, then the machine and the gadget are ready for normal use.
iv. Do not open it, risk of electric shock; Avoid dampness and violent impact; do not adjust and tuck it without professional technician.
